Excel Truck Group, a growing East Coast heavy truck dealership specializing in Freightliner sales and service, is seeking a sales professional to join our team in Chester, VA as a Sales & Service Product Sales Representative
. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative duties primarily supporting our New Truck and Trailer Sales team.

Business Development & Prospecting for all lines of business (Parts, Service, Trailer, Truck, Body and Trailer shops).
- Identify and prioritize new customer prospects (local fleets, contractors, municipalities, owner-operators, vocational segments). Reactivate under-served and mid/lower-tier accounts with a structured outreach cadence. Build andmaintaina pipeline across parts, service, and truck sales referral opportunities.
Sales Lead Generation (Truck & Trailer Sales)
- Qualify and document truck purchase intent (timelines, specs, fleet size, decision-makers). Pass high-quality leads to the truck sales team with complete notes, contact info, and next steps. Track lead outcomes and collaborate on follow-ups to close gaps.
Parts Sales Support
- Promote parts offerings (OEM, all-makes, reman, aftermarket, seasonal kits) and stocking programs. Conduct parts gap analyses and recommend solutions (filter programs, brake kits, PM bundles).
- Coordinate with the parts counter/delivery team to ensure accurate quotes and on-time fulfillment.
Service Sales Support
- Market service capabilities (PMs, DOT inspections, diagnostic, warranty, mobile service, body work). Drive service appointments andizeshop scheduling through proactive outreach. Educate customers on maintenance plans, service packages, and preventive maintenance value.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain records in the CRM (contacts, opportunities, activities, outcomes). Ensure exceptional customer experience—timely responses, clear communication, and reliable follow-through. Gather voice-of-customer feedback and share insights with sales, parts, and service leaders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the truck & trailer sales team on lead quality and spec discovery. Partner with parts and service managers to align campaigns, pricing, and promotions. Support local events, open houses, and digital promotions.
