Field Technician – Industrial Battery & Charger, Inc. Role Description
This full‑time position places a Field Technician on the frontline of outdoor maintenance, repairs, and installation of motive and stationary power systems across the Eastern United States. Eligible candidates will mostly work onsite in Chesterfield, VA, with flexibility for occasional remote work within Central and Eastern VA.
Responsibilities- Perform onsite installation, maintenance and repair of motive and stationary power equipment.
- Troubleshoot power equipment, diagnose mechanical/electrical faults, and execute effective repairs.
- Document activity, generate reports, and maintain work orders.
- Adhere to safety standards and coordinate with site teams.
- Experience maintaining electrical systems and equipment.
- Knowledge of motive and stationary power systems.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
- Certifications in electrical systems or related field are a plus.
