Job Responsibilities- Provides information about products and services addressing customer needs and offering technical solutions.
- Responds to customer service calls courteously and professionally, answering customers' questions and sending additional information via email.
- Understands customers’ needs and identifies sales opportunities.
- Creates and maintains a database of current and potential customers.
- Identifies and nurtures potential clients.
- Upsells and explains product and services features via telephone and email; provides prices and lead times.
- Prepares quotes and orders, addresses client inquiries regarding status of orders, back‑order reports, payments, RGAs, returns, repairs, etc.
- Communicates with in‑house teams to inquire build times, technical requirements, and shipping logistics to provide the most accurate lead times.
- Provides customer support and troubleshooting services via telephone and email.
- Communicates with existing and new customers, contacts potential customers, and follows up on leads, including shipping confirmation, delays, and ETAs.
- Stays up to date about competing products and services.
- Closes sales and achieves sales targets.
- Investigates and troubleshoots customer service issues.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School Graduate or equivalent; some post‑secondary education preferred.
- Fluid Power Specialist preferred or willing to obtain within first year.
- 3+ years of hydraulic experience.
