Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated individual to join our formulation and delivery team, where you will collaborate closely with research scientists to develop next-generation herbicide products. This role involves supporting both research and development activities as well as contributing to commercially launched products. You will evaluate the chemical and physical properties of various organic and inorganic substances, investigating their applications in formulated products while adhering to established guidelines and protocols.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with research scientists on the development of herbicide formulations.
- Evaluate chemical and physical properties of organic and inorganic substances for product application.
- Record all laboratory tasks, procedures, and findings diligently in an electronic laboratory notebook system.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and basic lab techniques while working on various projects.
- Operate laboratory equipment including pH meters, mixers/agitators, homogenizers, and milling equipment.
- Assist in the formulation development process for pesticides, foods, cosmetics, consumer products, or paints & coatings.
- Strong understanding of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in formulation chemistry.
- Hands-on laboratory experience with a keen interest in conducting lab work.
- Proficiency in chemistry/chemical engineering principles, including mass-balance calculations.
- Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in formulation development or a related area.
