• In addition to temporary assignment from time to time to the Operator classifications, this role will assist regular Station Operators in any of their duties when so assigned by supervision, especially as directed by the Routine Maintenance Card program.
• Performs preventive maintenance of the type or kind assigned to Operators such as cleaning, painting, tightening, minor adjusting, lubrications, inspections, testing, making minor part replacements, packing valves, etc.
• Works as a Shop Mechanic Helper.

• At completion of training program, may need to demonstrate ability to operate the station.
