Position: Year End Accountant (Contract)

Year End Accountant - Local Authority experience is essential

Location:

East Midlands - Hybrid working

Type: 6 months on going

Daily rate: £400-£600 per day

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting to an Interim Year End Accountant for a Local Authority based in the East Midlands.

Key responsibilities:

Year End Accountant

Manage processes for preparing, reporting, and monitoring the Council's budgets
Oversee the preparation of Final Accounts
Produce and enhance the Statement of Accounts
Assist with the development and improvement of the accounting system
Act as the key contact for Central Government, auditors and suppliers
Provide financial advice
Statutory Returns and Grant claims

Year End Accountant
