Job Description & How to Apply Below

We're recruiting on behalf of a confidential client – a fast-growing international business with a market-leading brand and ambitious plans for continued expansion. Operating across the UK, Europe and North America, the business has experienced exceptional growth and is now investing in the people, processes and infrastructure needed to support its next phase. As part of this journey, they are looking to appoint an experienced Project Management Office (PMO) Manager to establish and lead a centralised PMO function.

This is a newly created role with genuine influence, offering the opportunity to shape how strategic projects are delivered across the organisation.

The Role

Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for creating visibility, governance and consistency across a broad portfolio of business-critical projects. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll oversee initiatives spanning operations, supply chain, manufacturing, technology, commercial growth and organisational change, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and aligned to strategic objectives. This role would suit an experienced PMO professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is comfortable balancing strategic oversight with a hands‑on approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and embed PMO frameworks, governance and project management standards.
  • Create clear visibility of strategic projects, timelines, priorities and dependencies.
  • Develop executive reporting, dashboards and project performance metrics.
  • Partner with senior leaders to define project scope, objectives and delivery plans.
  • Support prioritisation and resource planning across multiple initiatives.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues and mitigation plans.
  • Facilitate steering groups, project reviews and stakeholder meetings.
  • Drive consistency in project delivery methodologies.
  • Challenge and support project owners to ensure successful execution.
  • Monitor project outcomes and benefits realisation.
  • Continuously improve PMO processes as the business continues to grow.
About You

You'll be an experienced PMO or Programme professional with a proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects in a dynamic business environment. You'll enjoy building structure where it doesn't yet exist, influencing senior stakeholders and driving meaningful business change. Ideally you'll have:

  • Proven PMO, programme management or transformation experience.
  • Strong project governance and reporting expertise.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience implementing project management frameworks and processes.
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • A pragmatic, commercially focused approach.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
