The Role Managing Quantity Surveyor The consultancy has opportunities to work on social housing refurbishment schemes and design and build refurbishment projects. The role is based in Chesterfield with regular site visits across the region. The Managing Quantity Surveyor will oversee commercial delivery across multiple live schemes, support the wider commercial team and act as a senior point of contact for clients.
Day-to-day responsibilities include leading cost management, valuations, variations, reporting, procurement strategy, commercial governance and mentoring Quantity Surveyors within the team. The role offers exposure to a diverse workload and the opportunity to take ownership of commercial performance across a portfolio of refurbishment projects. High-level security clearance may be required for some projects. This will be arranged and obtained for the successful candidate as part of the onboarding process.
