This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HLTA to work either part-time or full-time, supporting children with a range of additional needs in a nurturing, child-centred environment.

We are seeking a skilled SEND HLTA to support teaching and learning across the school, with a focus on pupils with Special Educational Needs. This is an exciting opportunity for a HLTA to lead, support, and inspire children while contributing to a positive, inclusive school culture.

• Lead whole-class or small-group sessions under teacher guidance as an experienced HLTA
• Deliver differentiated and targeted learning activities, particularly for pupils with SEND
• Support personalised learning through adapted resources and evidence-based interventions
• Mentor and support other classroom assistants to promote professional development
• Contribute to a calm, values-led, and inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor and track pupil progress, feeding into planning and assessment
• Promote pupils' independence, resilience, and confidence
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and external professionals to meet each child's needs

• Hold an HLTA qualification (or equivalent)
• Have experience supporting primary-aged pupils, ideally including SEND HLTA work
• Can confidently adapt learning for a wide range of abilities and needs
• Possess strong communication, organisation, and behaviour-management skills
• Are reflective, compassionate, and able to work collaboratively
• Share the school's commitment to respect, inclusion, and high expectations
