Academics Agency is looking for a caring and motivated Literacy Intervention Assistant to join a supportive school community in the Chesterfield area. • Deliver targeted one-to-one and small group literacy sessions
• Support struggling readers and writers using specific intervention strategies
• Help plan and create engaging, multi-sensory activities to boost phonics and comprehension
• Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents
• Foster a positive and encouraging environment for learning

• A passion for English and supporting children s education
• Experience in a school setting or with literacy intervention (highly desirable)
• Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
• An understanding of phonics and the primary curriculum
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
• Two professional references & full driving licence
