Exciting Opportunity: SEN Primary Teaching Assistant (Temp to Perm)

Monday - Thursday: 8:30 AM - 4:20 PM, Friday: 8:30 AM - 3:50 PM

Are you a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant eager to make a real impact? Academics Agency is seeking an experienced Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school supporting children with a range of additional needs, including ADHD, ODD, dyslexia, autism, SEMH, and anxiety.

Your Role:
  • Provide tailored support to pupils with diverse special educational needs, ensuring they feel valued and empowered.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of Educational Healthcare Plans (EHCPs) and Behaviour Plans.
  • Build positive, trust-based relationships to engage students in their learning journey.
  • Foster independence, confidence, and inclusivity among pupils.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to maintain a nurturing and effective classroom environment.
