GSL Education are recruiting a committed SEN Teacher to work with schools across Chesterfield (S43). This role is strictly for Drivers
, as travel between settings may be required.

In this role, the SEN Teacher will plan and deliver personalised learning that supports academic progress, emotional development, and positive behaviour within a structured and nurturing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Deliver tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs.
  • Support pupils with a range of special educational needs.
  • Create a calm, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor progress and adapt strategies to support engagement.
  • Work closely with support staff, SENCOs, and external professionals.

What You’ll Need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Previous experience working as a SEN Teacher or within SEND settings.
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (DRIVER ONLY).
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
