Long Term Futures are working with a supportive and welcoming Alternative Provision School in Chesterfield (S41) seeking a confident, resilient and personable Peripatetic Tutor to support pupils across the Chesterfield area and neighbouring towns. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity for a committed individual seeking a long-term, permanent position.

Your Role
This is a unique role working "on the road," delivering tailored tuition to 3-5 pupils per day in their homes, alongside conducting unannounced Safe & Well checks. The school provides full planning and learning materials, as well as training and ongoing support.

* Provide tailored one-to-one support for pupils with behavioural needs

* Help create a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment.

* Support pupils' academic progress as well as their emotional wellbeing and personal development.

* Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families to deliver person-alised learning plans.

* Contribute to behaviour management and therapeutic support strategies.

What We're Looking For

* A full UK driving licence

* Access to a vehicle with business insurance

* A genuine desire for a long-term, permanent position

* Confidence working independently and managing your own daily schedule

* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and families

* Enhanced DBS on the Update System
