Peripatetic Tutor | Chesterfield and Surrounding Areas | £100 - £125 per day | Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm |

Long Term Futures are working with a supportive and welcoming Alternative Provision School in Chesterfield (S41) seeking a confident, resilient and personable Peripatetic Tutor to support pupils across the Chesterfield area and neighbouring towns. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity for a committed individual seeking a long-term, permanent position.

Your Role
  • Provide tailored one-to-one support for pupils with behavioural needs
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment.
  • Support pupils' academic progress as well as their emotional wellbeing and personal development.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families to deliver person‑alised learning plans.
  • Contribute to behaviour management and therapeutic support strategies.
What We're Looking For
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Access to a vehicle with business insurance
  • A genuine desire for a long‑term, permanent position
  • Confidence working independently and managing your own daily schedule
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and families
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update System
