We are urgently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants for specialist schools and SEND provisions in Chesterfield and surrounding areas.

We are looking for caring, patient, and dedicated individuals to support children and young people with a wide range of additional needs across primary and secondary age groups.

About the Role
  • Assignments across specialist schools and provisions including supply cover, short-term assignments, long-term support roles, maternity cover, temp-to-perm opportunities and permanent SEN Teaching Assistant positions.
  • You may work 1:1 with pupils, in small intervention groups, supporting classroom learning, and assisting pupils with communication, emotional regulation and independence.
Ideal Candidate
  • Relevant experience supporting children or young people or in UK schools.
  • A calm, patient and adaptable approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Passion for supporting children with additional needs.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
