Position Summary
English Teacher – Chesterfield, full‑time, start date ASAP, until the end of the academic year. Salary on the MPS Scale.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Plan, design and assess the full curriculum for all year groups.
- Mark assignments and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Maintain excellent classroom management and support pupil progress.
- QTS with an English specialism (ECTs welcome).
- Experience teaching English up to Key Stage 4.
- Proven full‑planning and marking experience.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- A proactive, "can‑do" attitude.
- CPD courses and certificates through the My‑Progression channel.
- Market‑leading rates of pay.
