Specialist Teaching & Learning Assistant | Chesterfield (S43) | £105-£120 per day | Full Time | Trial Days Commencing ASAP | Must have a Driving Licence

About the Role

Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support for pupils with behavioural needs across Primary and secondary settings. Help create a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment. Support pupils' academic progress as well as their emotional wellbeing and personal development. Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families to deliver personalised learning plans. Contribute to behaviour management and therapeutic support strategies.

About You
  • Experience in supporting pupils with additional needs in a school or youth work setting.
  • Must have a full driving licence and be willing to obtain business insurance.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build trust with students.
  • A calm, patient, and adaptable approach to challenges.
  • A genuine passion for helping young people succeed academically and personally.
  • Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school community.
