The School and Role    

Vision for Education are currently recruiting for a Higher
- Level Teaching Assistant to start a long-term, temporary requirement at a Primary School in Sheffield. The role will be initially to cover PPA time across school however, it would be desired to have knowledge of the Early Years Curriculum and a passion for Forest School. The schools' requirements are:

Be an outstanding classroom practitioner

To have experience working with children with SEN and additional needs

To have good knowledge of safeguarding  

To be able to create good relationships with pupils, parents and carers and staff members

The school is a fast-paced environment with exceptionally supportive and outward facing leadership team. You will need strong behaviour management skills to work successfully in this school and have a firm but fair approach to teaching.  

Requirements    

The desired Higher Level Teaching Assistant will have;

Have an excellent understanding of how children learn   

Motivate and inspire children   

Have a positive working attitude and committed to continually improve teaching practice   

Be organised, punctual and adaptable   

Be committed to inclusion and equity
