At Bluebank School, we’re looking for an exceptional Assistant Headteacher to join our Senior Leadership Team and help shape the future of our school. What you will be doing
  • Lead and champion high-quality teaching, learning and curriculum development across the school.
  • Drive pupil attainment, progress and achievement through effective use of data and quality assurance.
  • Support the strategic leadership and implementation of the School Improvement Plan.
  • Lead curriculum innovation, ensuring learning pathways meet the needs of all pupils and statutory requirements.
  • Deliver and model outstanding classroom practice through a teaching commitment of up to 50%.
  • Line-manage, coach and develop teachers and middle leaders to maximise performance and professional growth.
  • Lead staff training and professional development to embed best practice and continuous improvement.
  • Build strong partnerships with parents, external agencies and the wider community while promoting a positive and aspirational school culture.
What you will bring
  • Holds QTS, a recognised Degree, and NPQSL (or equivalent leadership qualification).
  • Is an inspiring educational leader with a passion for teaching, learning and curriculum excellence.
  • Has strong experience analysing data and using insights to drive school improvement and pupil outcomes.
  • Can motivate, develop and support colleagues to achieve their full potential.
  • Is an excellent communicator who builds positive relationships with pupils, staff, families and external partners.
  • Demonstrates strategic thinking, resilience and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Is committed to inclusion, high expectations and achieving the very best outcomes for every pupil.
  • Holds a full UK driving licence.
