The RoleWe’re seeking a Project Engineer with 3+ years’ experience in drilling, construction, or civil engineering to join our Groundwater Engineering team. You’ll be involved in the planning, delivery, and oversight of groundwater and civils-based projects — from waterwell installations to enabling works and infrastructure packages.
This is a hands‑on, varied role that blends technical problem‑solving with operational coordination. You’ll work closely with our engineers, site teams, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities- Support the planning and execution of groundwater and civil engineering projects
- Assist with site setup, logistics, and technical documentation
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth delivery
- Monitor progress, quality, and compliance wit h project specifications
- Prepare and review RAMS, method statements, and QA documentation
- Contribute to technical reporting and data analysis
- Use Microsoft Project to support scheduling and programme tracking
- Support commissioning, testing, and handover of completed installations
- Assist with continuous improvement and lessons learned across projects
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in drilling, construction, or civil / mechanical engineering
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Practical understanding of site operations and health & safety standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project
- Experience with groundwater systems, borehole design, or pump installations is an advantage
