As a Cylinder Refurbishment Operative, you will be working on varying areas of the refurbishing plant to ensure suitable job rotation is achieved.

Various training periods apply to different roles, and you will be required to pass the appropriate training before progressing to the next level.

Here at Flogas, we may have a fossil fuels background, but we’re working towards delivering 100% renewable energy to our customers by 2040. We’re already supporting our customers to reduce their carbon emissions, by helping them make the switch from oil to gas. We’re also developing our offering for technologies such as heat pumps and solar panels, beginning to help our customers reduce their energy consumption and evolving new bio-fuels and renewable gases.

• De-gassing of cylinders
• Purging of cylinders
• De-valving of cylinders
• Transportation of cylinders around site
• Loading & unloading cylinders
• Paint spraying of cylinders – manual operation in purpose-built both.

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to behave in a responsible manner in a safety critical environment.
• Visual acuity to the required standard, corrected with prescription lenses if necessary.
• Previous experience working in a similar manufacturing environment
