Management Accountant

Axon Moore are supporting a business undergoing significant growth following private equity investment. They’re looking to appoint a Management Accountant who wants genuine ownership, variety, and the chance to broaden their commercial and technical skillset.

This role offers full end‑to‑end responsibility for the P&L across various entities, giving you real visibility and influence across the business.

A brilliant move for someone who wants to step out of a narrow month‑end role and into a position with breadth, pace and commercial exposure. You’ll work closely with operational teams, support decision‑making, and play a key role in shaping financial performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

Full ownership of month‑end processes including journals, reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and depreciation
Preparation of P&L, balance sheet, budgets and forecasts across multiple entities
Producing month‑end packs, financial statements and insightful reporting for senior stakeholders
Managing commercial price changes and modelling the financial impact
Supporting the year‑end audit and ensuring compliance with financial controls
Building strong relationships across operations, commercial and senior leadership teams
Providing analysis on performance, variances, margins and cost drivers
Supporting cashflow forecasting and working capital management
Identifying process improvements and contributing to system and reporting enhancements
Acting as a key finance contact for non‑finance teams, helping drive better decision‑making
What They’re Looking For

Finalist or qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA
3–5 years’ experience across P&L, balance sheet, journals and reconciliations
Strong understanding of double‑entry, financial controls and month‑end processes
Confident communicator who enjoys partnering with non‑finance teams
Ambitious, proactive and keen to develop in a fast‑paced, PE‑backed environment
