Temp Credit Controller

Credit Controller – Temp (Potential to Extend / Go Permanent) – Chesterfield (Hybrid)

A well-established organisation is seeking a Credit Controller to join their team on an initial 3-month temporary basis, with the potential for extension or a permanent opportunity. This role is ideal for someone experienced in the end-to-end credit control process, confident in managing accounts, resolving queries, and supporting cash allocation activities.

• Full end-to-end credit control duties
• Cash allocation and reconciliation of payments
• Investigating and resolving account queries
• Managing aged debt and supporting collections activity
• Ensuring accuracy of financial records and updates
• Supporting reporting and data analysis using Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs)

• Previous experience in a Credit Controller role (end-to-end exposure preferred)
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP essential)
• Confident handling queries and resolving discrepancies
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Able to work independently within a fast-paced environment

• Hybrid working (2 days from home, flexible arrangement)
• Chesterfield based (modern, open-plan office environment)
• Initial 3-month contract with strong potential to extend or go permanent
• Standard working day with flexible start/finish options
