Accounts Assistant

Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a well-established and growing business based in Chesterfield as they look to recruit an Accounts Assistant to strengthen their finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Accruals and prepayments
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
• VAT returns and statutory reporting support
• Maintaining the fixed asset register
• Assisting with month-end and year-end processes
• Supporting transactional finance where required
• Producing financial reports and analysis for senior management

The Person:

• Previous experience within a finance or accounts role
• AAT qualified or actively studying ACCA/CIMA
• Strong Excel skills and good attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
