Management Accountant

Sharp Consultancy are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant opportunity with a successful and growing organisation based in South Yorkshire.

This is a great opportunity for a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant looking to develop their experience within a supportive finance team. The role offers a broad remit, providing exposure to management accounts, reporting, analysis and working closely with key stakeholders across the business.

You will join a collaborative finance function where you can continue to develop your technical skills, gain commercial exposure and play an important role in supporting business performance.

• Producing monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Completing month-end journals, accruals and prepayments
• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
• Providing financial analysis and insight to support decision-making
• Investigating variances and identifying areas for improvement
• Working with non-finance teams to improve financial understanding
• Supporting process improvements across the finance function

• Be studying towards CIMA, ACCA or ACA, or qualified by experience
• Have previous experience within management accounting or a similar finance role
• Have strong Excel skills and good attention to detail
• Be confident communicating with stakeholders across the business
• Be keen to develop their skills within a supportive environment
