Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated MSK Specialist Podiatrist to join our outstanding team s role combines musculoskeletal expertise with a proactive approach to high‑risk foot care and prevention. You will play a key role in developing this part of our service, helping our patient population reduce the risk of limb‑threatening diabetic foot problems through early intervention and evidence‑based care.

We're Looking For
  • HCPC‑registered Podiatrist with significant MSK experience.
  • A passion for patient care and improving outcomes in diabetic foot health.
  • Strong skills in biomechanics, orthoses, and evidence‑based interventions.
  • Ability to lead, innovate, and work collaboratively.
Main Duties
  • Deliver specialist MSK podiatry care for patients with acute and chronic foot pathologies across community clinics and local hospital settings.
  • Lead the development of MSK Hubs, working alongside colleagues to provide accessible, timely, and high‑quality services.
  • Coach and mentor colleagues and apprentice podiatrists, sharing your expertise to build a strong, skilled workforce.
  • Support diabetic foot‑care initiatives aimed at preventing active foot disease and improving long‑term outcomes.
  • Provide advanced biomechanical assessments, orthotic prescriptions, and tailored treatment plans.
  • Develop outcome measures to evaluate the effectiveness of MSK podiatry interventions.

  • Essential:
  • HCPC registration.
  • 3 years post‑graduate experience.
  • Ability to travel to different clinical locations (not all sites are accessible by public transport).
