Recruitment Director – UK & Europe

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced recruitment leader to join our senior leadership team as Recruitment Director. This role is designed for a proven life‑sciences recruiter who combines strong personal billing credentials with the ability to build, lead and scale a high‑performing recruitment team. Based in the UK, this is a high‑impact role offering genuine autonomy, influence and long‑term progression.

You will take full ownership of a recruitment business unit, delivering permanent and contract recruitment solutions across the UK and Europe. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will set the standard for high‑quality recruitment delivery and commercial performance.

• Building, mentoring and leading a high‑performing team of recruitment consultants
• Leading from the front with a strong understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle
• Driving new business development and expanding existing client relationships
• Delivering consistent revenue growth across permanent and contract recruitment
• Developing trusted partnerships with senior‑level clients and candidates
• Identifying new market opportunities and supporting European expansion
• Working closely with the CK Group leadership team on strategic growth initiatives
• UK‑based, with occasional overseas travel

We offer a salary of £60,000 per annum, plus commission and bonus structure.

You will be a proven recruitment professional with experience operating at a senior leadership level within life‑sciences recruitment. You are commercially astute, consultative in approach, and passionate about developing people and building sustainable recruitment teams.

• A strong background in life‑sciences recruitment (biotech, pharma, medtech or related sectors)
• Demonstrable experience building and leading recruitment teams
• A track record of personal billing and commercial success
