We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join Romac Logistics, based at our new flagship operation in Chesterfield with responsibility for supporting our wider business.
This is a key, business-wide HR position, partnering with operational and senior leaders across the Romac Logistics network and providing commercially focused HR support within a fast-paced, 24/7 transport and logistics environment.
The successful candidate will build strong relationships with General Managers, Transport Managers, Warehouse Managers and senior stakeholders across the organisation, developing a detailed understanding of their operations, people challenges and future workforce requirements.
You will provide practical HR advice, coaching and constructive challenge to management while ensuring decisions are consistent, fair and aligned with employment legislation, company policy and the wider needs of the business.
Based from our Chesterfield operation, you will act as a central HR partner for the wider Romac network, working closely with management teams to ensure a consistent approach to people management across the organisation.
You will take a proactive approach to employee relations, absence, performance, engagement, retention and workforce planning, using HR data and operational insight to identify trends and support improvements across the business.
As Romac Logistics continues to grow and develop, you will play an important role in supporting organisational change, strengthening management capability and helping us create a consistent, high-performing culture across our network.

Roles and ResponsibilitiesAct as a key HR Business Partner to operational and senior leaders across the Romac Logistics network, building strong relationships and providing commercially focused HR support.
Coach, advise and constructively challenge managers at all levels, helping to strengthen people-management capability across the business.
Provide expert guidance across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring a consistent and effective approach to people management.
Take ownership of complex employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, conduct, absence and performance cases.
Work with operational leaders to improve employee engagement, retention, attendance and overall employee experience.
Support organisational change, including restructuring, changes to working practices and consultation processes where required.
Partner with Recruitment and operational management to understand current and future workforce requirements and support effective onboarding and induction.
Analyse HR metrics including absence, turnover, retention and employee relations, using data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
