Overview
Title: Geographical Information Systems Adjunct
Agency: Brightpoint Community College
Location: Chesterfield - 041
FLSA: Exempt
Hiring Range: $793-$1,693 per credit hour
Full Time or Part Time: Part Time
Responsibilities- Teach evening courses in Geospatial Technology using the ArcGIS software suite.
- Teach basic concepts of the use of ArcGIS software for data visualization and creation of maps.
- Edit existing maps and use ArcGIS software for spatial data analysis as part of introductory coursework.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Two years of related work experience.
- Ability to use instructional technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills.
- Successful completion and passing of a criminal background check is required.
- Work experience in the use of ArcGIS software suite for land development projects.
