Position: Technical Advisor (Permanent)

If you’ve spent years on the tools and you’re now looking for a role that uses your roofing knowledge without the physical work, this could be the perfect next step. We’re looking for someone who understands roofing inside-out and wants to bring that expertise into an office-based technical position.

The Role:

You’ll play a key part in supporting our clients customers and internal teams by providing clear, accurate technical advice. Your day-to-day work will include:

* Creating CAD details and written content for product specifications - CAD experience not essential

* Helping develop and refine technical details for our clients roofing systems

* Providing helpdesk support to customers and colleagues who need guidance

* Advising on correct product application and best practice installation

* Producing and checking waterproofing specifications

* Reading and interpreting architectural drawings to offer practical, real-world advice

* Keeping up to date with the latest industry standards and legislation
If you’ve ever been the person on-site who everyone comes to with questions, you’ll feel right at home!
The ideal candidate:

* Strong technical knowledge of roofing construction and installation

* A background in roofing or waterproofing (ideal for someone ready to move off the tools)

* A practical mindset and the confidence to advise others

* Good communication skills and attention to detail
