British Sign Language; BSL) Interpreter

We are currently seeking a British Sign Language (BSL) Interpreter in Chesterfield to provide communication support for an adult deaf learner studying a Level 3 Counselling qualification.

This is a temporary on-going position.

£16-18 per hour including SHP (negoiatable dependant on experience and qualifications).

• Provide BSL interpretation and communication support during lessons.
• Support the learner in accessing course content and participating fully in class activities.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure an inclusive learning environment.

• Relevant BSL Interpreter qualification and experience.
• Experience supporting learners within an educational setting is desirable.
• Hold a DBS on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one.
