We are currently seeking a British Sign Language (BSL) Interpreter in Chesterfield to provide communication support for an adult deaf learner studying a Level 3 Counselling qualification.
This is a temporary on-going position.
£16-18 per hour including SHP (negoiatable dependant on experience and qualifications).
The successful candidate will:- Provide BSL interpretation and communication support during lessons.
- Support the learner in accessing course content and participating fully in class activities.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure an inclusive learning environment.
- Relevant BSL Interpreter qualification and experience.
- Experience supporting learners within an educational setting is desirable.
- Hold a DBS on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one.
