We are partnering with a dynamic international technology business to recruit an In-House Commercial Paralegal to join their team, based in either their Chesterfield or Leeds offices with hybrid working flexibility. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or an individual already working within the legal sector to develop and broaden their expertise in commercial contracts, compliance and legal operations.What

You'll Be DoingAs a Commercial Paralegal you will:

• Support the Group Legal and Compliance teams with a wide range of commercial legal matters.
• Assist with the drafting, review and negotiation of commercial contracts, including NDAs, supply, services and partnership agreements.
• Assist with legal research and interpretation of law and legal principles relevant to commercial activities.
• Manage legal cases and contract creation, approval, storage and retrieval processes (using Salesforce, Microsoft SharePoint/Power Platform and Contract Express/HighQ).
• Report on legal cases, contract process and risk management activities.
• Work with other stakeholders to identify bottlenecks in the current legal processes and implement (automated) solutions and workflow improvements.
• Act as a "power user" for our legal AI implementation project. This includes developing and testing new features, refining prompts and reviewing outputs.
• Occasionally represent the business on international travel to support legal and commercial engagements.

About you:You will be:

• A law graduate or a legal professional currently working within the legal sector.
• Passionate about commercial law and about the IT/technology sector.
• Tech savvy and comfortable exploring new software and platforms.
• A clear communicator, comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
• Organised, proactive and able to work independently under direction.
• Happy to work in a hybrid model, with occasional travel internationally as required.

Experience with commercial contracts, legal research, legal operations or cross-border collaboration is highly desirable, though full training and development will be provided to the right candidate.What You'll Get
