Expeditor – Chesterfield / Hybrid - £28,000

Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be partnering exclusively with a multi-award winning global market leading business who are looking to recruit an Expeditor to support their team on an 8 month contract covering maternity.

As Expeditor, you will ensure the timely delivery of materials, components and services required to support operational schedules. This key role focuses on maintaining strong communication with suppliers, tracking open orders and resolving issues that could affect customer commitments.

• 38.5 hours per week Monday to Friday
• Flexible hybrid working
• Pension

• Monitor all open purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure on time delivery
• Review acknowledgements and delivery promises, escalating risks when required
• Maintain accurate delivery information within the ERP system
• Work closely with procurement, planning and production teams to update delivery priorities
• Resolve delivery discrepancies, shortages and delays with suppliers
• Support regular supplier performance reviews through accurate data and reporting
• Help drive improvements across expediting and order management processes

• Analytical and problem-solving ability
• Confidence using IT systems
