Thorn Baker are recruiting for an experienced Print Finishing Operator to join a well-established and growing print production business. The Print Finishing Operator role:

You will be responsible for operating a Horizon Mk3 Stitchliner and supporting the wider print finishing process to ensure all finished products meet strict quality and productivity standards.

Key responsibilities include:

Operating and setting up the Horizon Mk3 Stitchliner
Monitoring quality and carrying out quality checks throughout production
Ensuring smooth workflow and meeting daily production targets
Identifying and resolving basic machine faults
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area
Working closely with the production team to meet deadlines
The ideal candidate for the Print Finishing Operator role will have:

Previous experience in print finishing is essential
Experience operating stitchers / booklet makers (Horizon preferred)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Basic mechanical aptitude and confidence working with machinery
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
Good organisational skills and ability to follow instructions
Flexible and adaptable to changing production priorities
