OLE General Operative

About The Role

This role involves undertaking stores duties, production assembly of OLE components, material handling, and general duties. You will work safely and efficiently with OLE components, maintain the OLE stock system, and support overall operations.

• Operate part of the Production Assembly department to meet daily output targets and correct quality standards.
• Maintain the OLE stock system.
• Assist with moving materials and general duties as required to support Operations.
• Assemble components from drawings and pack for distribution throughout the UK and for shipment overseas.
• Work safely, follow work instructions, and maintain a clean working environment.
• Adhere to a Zero Harm safety approach.
• Produce high‑quality product efficiently.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, reduce waste, and consider recycling in processes.
• Carry out any other duties as required.

• Able to use air and electric hand tools, grinders, presses, and pedestal crimping machines.
• Ability to read and understand component drawings and assembly instructions.
• Positive, enthusiastic, and supportive of a "can‑do" attitude.
• Reliable and supportive of continuous improvement culture.
• Willingness to learn and embrace new ideas.
• Team‑player with self‑motivation.
• Good understanding of Health and Safety and ability to maintain a safe and clean working environment.

• Experience operating overhead cranes and plant.
• Qualified forklift truck operator.
• Knowledge of OLE materials.
