Time Served Plater ​/ Welder ​/ Fabricator

Welder/ Fabricator Sheffield / Chesterfield Fulltime, Permanent 40 hours pw  early finish on a Friday We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Welder /Fabricator. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding Metal sheets, in the manufacture of high quality fabrications in mild steel, Special Alloy steel, stainless steel and Aluminium, these fabrications being used with the mineral processing , mining, MOD.

the position involves working with power tools and fabrication equipment to cut , shape and assemble sheet metal and other materials you will need to conduct quality checks on welds and fabricated parts to ensure safety and quality standards maintain organised workspace adhering to health and safety regulations assist and assemble of fabricated parts into finished products you need to have experience in plater welding and have understand of welding standards good organisation skills and attention to detail Fabrication experience medium to heavy steel, and also have used power tools , hand tools, shears and grinders.
