Welder / Fabricator / Fitter

We’re recruiting on behalf of several well established engineering companies across the Sheffield & Chesterfield. As a key member of the fabrication and production team, you’ll contribute to the manufacture of bespoke components and play an important role in delivering high‑quality, specialist engineering projects.

• Hours:
  
  Days only, with the option of a 4‑day working week (Friday off & long weekend) with selected clients
• Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 + overtime paid at enhanced rates
• Contract:
  
  Full‑time, permanent

• Carry out high‑quality welding and fabrication across a range of materials
• Safely operate hand and power tools for fabrication tasks
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Fabricate and assemble components to ensure precision and accuracy
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow all health & safety guidelines

• Proven experience in welding and fabrication and/or mechanical fitting
• Confident using hand and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Reliable, motivated, and committed to producing high‑quality work
