- Thursday, 15:00-01:00 (Evening shift) Welding Technician required to join a well-established Engineering company that is based in the Bedford area. This role is a high-end production welding role, requiring some repetitive work whilst maintaining the high quality required by our industry. The Welding Technician role will be responsible for completing fabricate assemblies to a high standard ready for painting. Job Requirements Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MIG etc.) in mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Be able to identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures Proficient in the use of hand tools, including angle grinders, squares, calipers etc.
