Experienced Fabricator

Our client, a rapidly growing engineering company based in Chesterfield, is seeking an Experienced Fabricator to join their dynamic team.

• Carrying out general fabrication work on a range of steel structures and components
• Interpreting and working from engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Measuring, marking out, cutting, shaping, and drilling steel and plate
• Carrying out high-quality MIG welding
• Assembling and fabricating components to a high standard of accuracy and quality
• Using a range of workshop tools, machinery, and fabrication equipment
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification
• Maintaining strict adherence to all Health & Safety procedures and site policies

• Previous experience working as a Fabricator within an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Confident with general fabrication and steelwork
• Strong MIG welding skills
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experienced in measuring, marking out, cutting, and assembling components
• Comfortable using a range of fabrication machinery and workshop equipment
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Monday – Thursday, 06:00 – 16:30
• Overtime rate time and half
