Mechanical Fitter Day Shift (Basildon) Join a large industrial client in Basildon as a skilled and reliable Mechanical Fitter on a role with excellent career progression opportunities with the potential to move into a permanent position after the probation period.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 06:45 15:45 Friday: 06:45 11:45 Total: 39 paid hours per week Pay & Benefits:
Starting salary: £13.30 per hour Salary review after 3 months, with potential increase based on performance Overtime available, including Saturdays and Sundays paid at time and a half Early Friday finish for better work-life balance Opportunity to work within a supportive and skilled team Full training provided

Key Responsibilities:

Assembly, installation, and maintenance of mechanical components and equipment Mechanical assembly using power tools based on customer requirements Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications Carrying out routine inspections and fault finding Ensuring all work is completed to high quality and safety standards Working collaboratively with the wider engineering team Requirements:
