Job Title: Welder, Fabricator, General Works Operator

Reporting To: Operations Manager

Salary: £15.67 per hour (rising to £17.04 per hour after probation)

Hours: Shift pattern 06:00 14:00 & 14:00 22:00 & 22:00 06:00

Location: Chesterfield (S41)

Role Overview:

As a Welder, Fabricator, and General Works Operator, you will be responsible for the preparation, assembly, and welding of fabricated products to meet customer specifications. The role also includes

operating various workshop machinery and supporting general operations such as material handling and goods-in processes. You will be expected to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency, while ensuring full traceability and compliance with company procedures. Your contribution is essential to the smooth running of the manufacturing facility and wider production activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meeting or exceeding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as agreed with the business.

• Interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and verbal/written instructions to understand customer requirements.
