Job Description & How to Apply Below

Evac has been a pioneer in sustainable technologies and solutions for decades. Cathelco is part of Evac Group. Today we are the world’s leading provider of integrated Evac® water, waste and wastewater technologies, Cathelco® corrosion protection and marine growth prevention and HEM® freshwater systems.

Our technologies address the increasing need for innovative solutions driven by the megatrends of climate change, circularity, and increasingly scarce freshwater resources. We contribute to a better environment and cleaner seas by helping our customers eliminate waste, conserve water, mitigate emissions, and lengthen the lifecycle of their vessels or buildings. Together with our 500 colleagues in 14 countries, we strive for a future with no waste.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented USP Assembly & Test Operative to join our Operations team. This is a hands-on role focused on the assembly, testing and kitting of USP panels and systems, ensuring products are built to the highest standards of quality, safety and customer satisfaction.

If you enjoy working in a collaborative manufacturing environment and take pride in delivering quality work on time, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

As a USP Assembly & Test Operative, you will:

  • Assemble, test and kit USP panels and systems in accordance with job cards and design specifications.

  • Prepare completed USP systems for dispatch.

  • Support wider production activities including material handling, equipment operation, saw work and boxing tasks.

  • Follow production schedules and ensure all production orders are completed to agreed deadlines.

  • Work safely at all times, adhering to company Health & Safety policies and procedures.

  • Assist with quality assurance and quality control activities across manufacturing operations.

  • Support annual stock take activities.

  • Maintain high housekeeping standards and complete end-of-shift checks.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the production environment.

As business demands change, you may also be required to support the assembly of other product lines, including ICCP, MGPS and anode systems.

About You

We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Basic mechanical, electrical and electronic skills.

  • A strong focus on quality and attention to detail.

  • Good time management and organisational skills.

  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • A proactive and flexible approach to supporting production requirements.

  • Commitment to working safely and following established procedures.

Why Join Us?

At Cathelco, you'll be part of a team that values quality, teamwork and continuous improvement. We offer the opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive manufacturing environment while contributing to innovative marine technology solutions.
