• Maintain beautiful public and private spaces: grass cutting, pruning, leaf collection, weeding, and more.
• Operate a range of hand tools, powered equipment, and ride‑on mowers to ensure sites stay looking their best.
• Take pride in keeping Chesterfield’s outdoor spaces pristine and well‑cared‑for, leaving a lasting impact on the community.

• A highly motivated individual with experience in commercial or amenity grounds maintenance.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• A passion for maintaining quality environments and delivering exceptional service.

• Knowledge of fine turf surfaces and the technical aspects of grounds maintenance.
• Good plant knowledge or a horticultural qualification (but not essential).
• Experience in towing trailers and holding PA1 & PA6 qualifications.
• Previous experience in grounds maintenance is a plus!

• An Enhanced DBS check is required due to the nature of the role and the responsibility to safeguard children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
