QC Technician

• Location: Chesterfield.
• Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent (35 hours per week).
• Starting Salary: £28,917 - £34,557 Per Annum.

We are recruiting for a QC Technician to join a successful manufacturing business in Chesterfield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with laboratory or quality control experience to support product testing, quality assurance, and continuous improvement within a busy manufacturing environment.

• Carry out quality control testing on raw materials and finished products.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and quality documentation.
• Support the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Investigate quality issues and customer complaints, assisting with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Assist with R&D projects, production trials and new product testing.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain product specifications.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
  
  Support internal and external quality audits.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and quality standards.

• Degree or Diploma in a scientific discipline (Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science or similar).
• Previous experience in a QC or laboratory environment.
• Knowledge of laboratory testing and quality control procedures.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Experience with ISO 9001 is desirable.
