Our independent Restaurant and hotel clients are looking to recruit a talented head chef for this faced paced casual fine dining grill and smokehouse restaurant commutable to Chesterfield, Bakewell & Sheffield,

Head ChefJob Description:
The Head Chef is responsible for the overall kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management.
The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background and experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen, with all dishes made in house, including all brining and smoking, experience working within a smoke house style kitchen would be an advantage, but as all dishes are made in house a background working with fresh food in a casual fine dining background is a must.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute menus that meet the needs of the restaurant's customers
Manage the kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
Ensure that all food is prepared according to health and safety standards
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Work with the restaurant's management team to ensure that the kitchen is operating efficiently
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Chef in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
Experience in Menu planning
Experience working in a smokehouse style kitchen would be an advantage
Experience working as a head chef in a fresh food led kitchen is a must
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of food safety compliance and latest allergen regulations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
