Inspire Resourcing are recruiting a Business Development Manager on behalf of a client based in Chesterfield.

• Inbound Sales Management, Handling and converting incoming enquiries
• New Business Development, Identifying and securing new opportunities
• Full Sales Cycle Ownership, Managing opportunities from enquiry to close
• Proposal & Quotation Preparation, With support from internal technical teams
• Relationship Building, Developing strong customer and internal relationships
• CRM & Pipeline Management, Maintaining accurate records and forecasts
• High‑Value Sales, Working on deals from £30k to £250k with varied sales cycles
• Target Achievement, Meeting and exceeding revenue and margin goals

• Proven experience in business development, technical sales, or solution‑based selling
• Strong track record of closing new business
• Experience managing longer, consultative sales cycles
• Excellent commercial awareness and qualification skills
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple opportunities
• Motivated, resilient, and target‑driven
