DERBYSHIRE RECOVERY PARTNERSHIP DRUG AND ALCOHOL SERVICE

Phoenix Futures is seeking to internally recruit a passionate, motivated, and solution‑focused Team Manager to lead our Chesterfield team within the Derbyshire Recovery Partnership community drug and alcohol service.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well‑established service with a highly experienced, multidisciplinary team who bring a wealth of knowledge, professionalism, and commitment to supporting people in addiction and recovery across the community.

The Role

This role is Monday‑Friday, 9am‑5pm, 37.5 hours per week, on a permanent contract, based in Chesterfield. Salary is £28,500, with increments subject to appraisal.

As Team Manager, you will lead from the front, driving performance, quality, and innovation across the Chesterfield team. You will have line management responsibility and oversee the day‑to‑day running of the local team, ensuring it operates effectively and delivers excellent outcomes.

You will manage a multidisciplinary team delivering a comprehensive community‑based treatment offer, including high‑quality assessments, structured key working interventions and meaningful and engaging group work. A key part of the role is building and maintaining strong partnerships with internal colleagues, commissioners and external agencies. You will act as an ambassador for the service, promoting its impact, outcomes and value. You will also play a central role in service development, bringing fresh ideas and leading continuous improvement to ensure the highest ethical and professional standards of care.

About You

We are looking for someone passionate about recovery and committed to making a difference. The ideal candidate is confident, dynamic and forward‑thinking, a natural leader with strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, a keen eye for data accuracy, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. You have experience working within the substance use field, a strong understanding of safeguarding and risk management, proven ability in partnership working and knowledge of drug, alcohol and associated issues, and recovery journeys.

Desirable experience includes line management and supervision. Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work; free staff care park on site. This role comes with an induction and a comprehensive training package.
