Wellbeing Personal Trainer – Nuffield Health, Chesterfield

We are looking for a motivated and caring Personal Trainer to join our Chesterfield gym. As part of the UK’s largest healthcare charity, you’ll have the chance to grow professionally while making a lasting impact on member lives. This part‑time position is 16 hours per week with potential for further training and career progression within Nuffield Health.

As a Personal Trainer at our gym, you’ll be confident, outgoing, and approachable. Whether you’re an experienced trainer or have recently qualified, it’s essential that you possess a REPs Level 3 or CIMSPA Practitioner (or higher) qualification. You should be a natural communicator, adept at listening, understanding, and explaining fitness concepts.

• Connect with and motivate members to reach their fitness goals and maintain a healthier lifestyle
• Deliver a range of sessions and consultations, including high‑quality inductions, Personal Best programmes, group and personal training sessions, and general gym duties
• Maintain a knowledge of Nuffield Health’s services and actively promote their use among members
• Support the growth of your personal training hours through client acquisition and retention
• Progress toward opportunities such as Wellbeing Lead or management roles, and pursue additional training such as the in‑house Personal Best, Les Mills instructor, and group cycle courses

:
Your income will grow as you establish a client base and improve your take‑home potential. PT sessions operate on a sliding scale—more sessions delivered equals higher earnings.

All candidates must be a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer and hold a current CIMSPA membership at the Personal Trainer Practitioner level. Failure to provide these credentials will halt the application process.
