Position: Class 1 (CE) HGV Driver

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a temporary Class 1 (Category CE) HGV Driver for a well‑established transport operation based locally. This is a temporary position
.

The role involves curtain‑side work
, operating from 17th July to 31st July. You will be starting at Claycross and delivering products to clients around England.

The Role

Class 1 curtain‑side deliveries
Regional or nationwide runs depending on route
Use of curtains and load restraint (manual handling involved)

Requirements

Valid Class 1 (Category CE) licence
Minimum 2 years' Class 1 driving experience
Licence held for a minimum of 2 years
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Curtain‑side experience preferred
Good understanding of drivers' hours and WTD
Reliable, professional attitude with good customer‑facing skills
