Shift: Days We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to support transport operations in the Old Whittington area. This temporary, day-shift opportunity offers £17 per hour, with payment made every Wednesday. Its operations include a varied commercial vehicle fleet, general haulage, abnormal-load and crane-assisted transport, European haulage and storage services.

This role supports the safe and efficient movement of goods as part of its transport operations. Key responsibilities Driving HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and responsibly Completing vehicle checks before and after journeys Ensuring loads are secure and transported in line with legal requirements Carrying out deliveries and collections professionally and on schedule Completing relevant delivery paperwork and transport records Reporting any vehicle, load or delivery issues promptly Maintaining high standards of safety and customer service Skills and qualifications Valid HGV Class 1 driving licence Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card Previous commercial driving experience Good knowledge of road safety and drivers hours regulations Ability to carry out vehicle checks and follow loading instructions Reliable, punctual and professional approach Good communication skills and a responsible attitude Flexibility to meet operational requirements Benefits £17 per hour Paid every Wednesday Visibility to local employers This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable HGV Class 1 Driver looking for temporary daytime work with a well-established transport operation.
